To pay homage to one of my favorite designers, Eddie Opara, I decided to make a poster, book and an interactive “awards and recognitions” puzzle. Each part of the homage has a significance behind it. The poster features a simple timeline that illustrates Opara’s major moves as a student, to independent designer, to working with Pentagram. The book shows a significant amount of Opara’s more recent work with Pentagram, projects varying from identity, books and covers, interaction, information design, etc.
